![]() Dimpled orange-peel appearance of the skin is known as cellulite and results from abnormal storage of fat due to hormonal changes. The process is exacerbated by sluggish circulation and subsequent stagnation of toxins. Hereditary factors and poor dietary habits also play a role in cellulite formation. In our clinic we use Mesotherapy for cellulite reduction. Mesotherapy derives its name from 'meso' which refers to the mesoderm - the middle layer of the skin. During the treatment small amounts of ready made mixtures of vitamins, minerals, aminoacids and enzymes are injected with tiny needles just below the surface of the skin. Some remedies used in Mesotherapy can dissolve fat deposits, while others increase metabolism of the injected area, to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage. Within 8-10 regular sessions performed once or twice a week, you may experience considerable improvement of cellulite (stages I and II). Then we recommend maintenance treatments about once a month. Along with good diet and routine exercise this keeps cellulite at bay. Mesotherapy is an excellent treatment for lax and tired looking skin. It involves multiple superprefal injections of various vitamins, minerals, enzymes and aminoacids. Supplied with nutrition, your skin rejuvenates naturally from within. By building its own collagen, the skin gains its luminous and healthy look. It feels toned, smooth and elastic. Mesotherapy also helps to reduce fine wrinkles and is a great treatment for face, neck and chest area. The best results are achieved by eight regular weekly sessions, although some effects are noticeable even after one treatment. To book an appointment, or to find out more about these treatments, telephone us on 0208 9055509, or email Dr.Benson@advancedbeauty.co.uk. We are here to help.
